Anthropologie Birthday Party

The Anthropologie on the Upper East Side threw a special birthday party last month for any Anthro members celebrating birthdays in April.  It seemed like a cute concept and I love a discount; so I went to the event after a long day at work.

There were Prosecco cocktails that you could sip while trying on clothes and an adorable candy station

My new spring dress!  Only downside is it's dry clean only.

I spent waaay too much money for my birthday at Anthropologie, but I love that they treat their loyal customers well!

The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook - Tomato-Glazed Meatloaves with Brown Butter Mashed Potatoes

Meatloaf has never been my thing, but my husband loves it.  I decided to try a recipe for it from the cookbook The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook.  It was fantastic!

The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook is new to our home and this was the first recipe we tried from it (note all the post-its marking other recipes I want to try).

The finished product next to the picture from the cookbook - tasted better than it looked!
